We're seeking a talented Software Developer to join our growing team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server. You'll leverage your deep expertise to ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and effective data management for our applications.Responsibilities : Database Architect : Design and implement complex database schemas using best practices for normalization, optimization, and scalability.SQL Master : Develop, optimize, and execute complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures to meet application requirements.Data Integrity Champion : Ensure data accuracy and consistency through data validation, constraints, and triggers.Performance Guru : Identify and implement strategies to optimize database performance and improve query execution times.Security Defender : Implement and maintain appropriate security controls to safeguard sensitive data.Data Migration Expert : Participate in and lead data migration projects to ensure seamless data transfer and minimal disruption.Version Control Adept : Utilize version control systems (e.g. Git) to manage code changes effectively.Collaboration Catalyst : Work collaboratively with developers, analysts, and other team members to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions.Technical Expert : Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Microsoft SQL Server technologies and best practices.Qualifications : - 8+ years of experience as a Software Developer with a strong focus on Microsoft SQL Server.- In-depth knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and other SQL Server features.- Proven experience in database design principles, normalization techniques, and data modeling.- Strong understanding of database security concepts and best practices.- Experience with database performance optimization techniques (e.g. indexing, query tuning).- Familiarity with data migration methodologies and tools (desirable).- Experience with version control systems like Git (preferred).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.Bonus Points : - Experience with other database management systems (e.g. Oracle, MySQL)- Experience with database administration tasks (e.g. backup, recovery, replication)- Knowledge of data warehousing or big data technologies (desirable) (ref:hirist.tech)
