Description:
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases.- Identify and implement efficient automation strategies to achieve maximum test coverage.- Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and feedback.- Analyze test results, identify and diagnose bugs, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall code quality of the automation test suite.- Stay up-to-date with the latest automation testing tools and best practices.- (Preferred): Experience working on QA automation within SaaS startup environments.Qualifications:- 8+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer (or similar role)- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) with a focus on Agile methodologies.- In-depth knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and proficiency in at least one automation testing framework.- Experience with API testing and performance testing is a plus.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.- Experience working in a remote environment is a plus.- (Preferred): Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks within SaaS companies.
