Job Title : Kubernetes Administrator (Contractor)Position Type : ContractorLocation : Preferably onsite at Hyderabad; remote work is possible for the right candidate.Role Overview : The company seeks a Kubernetes Administrator to manage, maintain, and upgrade Kubernetes clusters and deployments. Experience with supported Kubernetes variants like IBM/Red Hat OpenShift is preferred.Key Responsibilities and Qualifications :- Kubernetes Management: Expertise in managing Kubernetes capacity and availability.- Cluster Solutions: Implement and manage OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters, configure peripherals and services, manage settings and storage, deploy cloud-native applications, and monitor environments.- Cloud and Infrastructure : Strong knowledge of cloud computing and infrastructure management.- Linux and Virtualization : Proficient in Linux (especially Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and virtualization technologies (Red Hat Virtualization, VMWare vSphere, KVM).- Scripting and Tools : Advanced skills in scripting (e.g., Shell scripts), Linux command line tools, and build and monitoring tools (e.g., Jenkins, Nexus).- System Administration : Expertise in Linux system administration, including networking, IP, DNS, DHCP, containers, and package management.- Project Onboarding : Hands-on experience with project onboarding.- Cloud Technologies : Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and concepts (networking, security, monitoring, debugging).Desired Certifications :- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration- AWS Certified Solutions Architect- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) (ref:hirist.tech)
