Description:

Objective :- Responsible to maintain, manage and upgrade production site (SQL and IIS). Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. - You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems in no time. - You should be able to communicate with multiple technical teams and other users. - Technical Documentation is a part of your role. Your goal will be to ensure that our infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently all the time. Key Responsibilities : - Knowledge of Configuration of website in IIS.- Manage worker processes in IIS- Configuration of Application pool and associated tasks.- Knowledge of app to db connectivity.- Knowledge of SQL 2017 and more.- Manage the security and disaster recovery aspects of a database.- Manage and create HA plans (Always On and other HA)- Maintain data standards, including adherence to the PCI DSS.- Develop, manage and test back-up and recovery plans- Consider both back-end organization of data and front-end accessibility for end-users- Monitor performance and manage parameters to provide fast responses to front-end users- Carry out capacity planning- Establish the needs of users and monitor user access and security.- Communicate regularly with-in team members and update the changes on regular basis. - Work closely with-in the team members and database/application developers- Managing and Maintaining proper technical documentation.- Familiarity with various operating systems and DB supporting the platforms- Working in shifts as per requirementsQualification :- Any Graduate or BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline. - Professional certification is preferredPrevious Experience :- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.- Hands on Experience with Microsoft databases 2017 onwards.- Knowledge of TSQL and data backup/recovery.- Hands on Experience with IIS 10.0- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitudeCompetencies :Technical & Strategic : You possess good analytical & debugging skills.Behavioural Competencies :- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members (ref:hirist.tech)
