Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Architect with a specialization in data platforms to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing large-scale data platforms, specifically handling datasets of 25 TB or more. As an Architect, you will lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions tailored to our organization's requirements. Key Responsibilities:- Design and architect data platforms to support the storage, processing, and analysis of datasets exceeding 25 TB. - Develop and implement strategies for data management, integration, and governance, ensuring high data quality and security. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Establish and enforce best practices for data architecture, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. - Optimize the performance and scalability of data platforms to meet evolving business needs. - Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members. Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - At least 5 years of experience in designing and building data platforms, with a focus on datasets of 25 TB or more. - Proficiency in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and big data tools (Hadoop, Spark). - Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling techniques, and ETL processes. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
