Summary :We are seeking a motivated and talented Linux Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience with a strong foundation in C programming and a passion for developing applications for the Linux platform. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that leverage the power of Linux.Responsibilities :Development and Programming :- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using C.- Develop and implement software applications for the Linux operating system.- Utilize data structures and various Inter-Process Communication (IPC) mechanisms for efficient program design.Technical Skills and Knowledge :- Possess a good understanding of the Linux operating system, including its core functionalities and command line interface.- Familiarity with Windows operating systems is a plus.- Ability to analyze code segments and identify potential issues or areas for improvement.Problem-Solving and Collaboration :- Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Collaborate effectively with clients and other engineers to develop optimal solutions.- Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.Design and Planning (Preferred) :- Experience in creating and implementing design plans for software development projects (a plus).Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).- 1 - 3 years of experience developing software applications with a focus on Linux.- Strong proficiency in C programming language.- Good understanding of Linux system fundamentals and functionalities.- Working knowledge of data structures and IPC mechanisms.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Effective communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.- Knowledge of audio/video codecs is a plus (but not required) (ref:hirist.tech)
