We are new, we have started recently and we are pretty excited to get a few key members into our team who will help with the software developmentPosition Overview :We are looking for a talented backend Developer to join our team and play a key role in the development of our mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in helping build backend infra and microservices, with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end solutions. Exposure to designing services, will be an added advantage. The candidate should possess the ability to make smart design choices based on project scope and requirements. Knowledge of Java, Node.js, AWS is desirable. Prior freelancing experience is good to have as well as proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS and GCP.Key Responsibilities :- Develop high-quality backend architecture from concept to delivery.- Create requisite APIs and utilise DB to store data - Create a mobile application- Choose the tech stack and lead the architectural design- Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness.- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.- Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain application stability.- Work closely with co-founder and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.- Deploy applications on cloud platforms and manage cloud resources effectively.- Help form the team of the company by being involved in hiring, interviews etc.- Lead a team of engineers and guide themRequirements :- 6+ years of experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field- Proven experience in building backend infra using Java or node.js- Strong understanding of mobile app development frameworks and libraries- Familiarity with backend and frontend service design principles- Ability to make informed design decisions based on project scope and constraints.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills- Effective communication and collaboration skills- Prior freelancing experience is preferred- Good to have exposure to Java, Node.js, and AWS.Benefits :- Be a part of a Zero to One Journey Competitive salary package as well as ESOPs- Opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative startup environment.- Flexible work hours and remote work options.- Health insurance and other benefits.- Professional development opportunitiesIf you are passionate about mobile app development and eager to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
