Job Description :Criteria :- Strong Technical architect (Distributed Systems) profile- Mandatory (Experience 1) - Must have 10+ years of experience in Software Architecture with a developer background preferred in Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, etc. Currently involved in the architecture and system design of the tech system of the product/project.- Mandatory (Experience 2) - Must have significant experience in backend and data architecture.- Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have good experience in architecting large-scale distributed systems.- Mandatory (Core Skills 1): Expertise with any cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).- Mandatory (Core Skills 2): Knowledge of open-source technologies like Apache, Solr, Lucene, Elastic Search, Memcached, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Message Broker/Queue, etc.- Mandatory (Education): B.E / B. Tech in CS / IT OR from Tier 1 Engineering colleges- Mandatory (Company): Top Product Companies Only, Preferably from Lead squared, Clevertap, Myntra, Paytm, etc. Must have been working for at least 2 years in the same company.Role & Responsibilities :- Lead/Guide a team of developers to build the next gen marketing automation platform- Hands on with Modular Software Architecture, Software Design and Implementation- Institute and Lead the adoption of best practices, coding standards and development practices to improve the quality of the deliverables- Own Reliability, Quality and Costs agendas for the assigned teams.- Define layered architecture and lead technical teams - presentation layer, data layer, business layer, etc.- Define & drive implementation of long term technology vision for your product & team- Drive a culture of curiosity and active debate around technology at MoEngage- Experiment with new & relevant technologies and tools, and drive adoption while measuring yourself on the impact you are able to createIdeal Candidate :- 10+ years of relevant industry experience- Experience in Large scale distributed systems- Worked at the scale where the organization had at least 20Mn MAU- Very Strong System design and OO skills with a nifty ability to craft clean interfaces and operate at the right levels of abstraction.- Solid coding skills with ability to drive teams through massive refactoring exercise & improve coding standards across large code bases- Experience in Java- Excellent Problem Solving skills for complex & large scale Systems- Experience & expertise in a variety of large scale persistent systems and databases- Deep understanding of cloud based distributed systems. Must have in-depth knowledge on one of the cloud platforms viz. AWS / GCP / Azure (ref:hirist.tech)
