Job Description :Key Responsibilities :Project Planning and Execution :- Develop detailed project plans to track progress and ensure timely delivery.- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.- Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.Risk Management :- Capture and manage project risks, maintaining risk registers and ensuring required mitigation actions are in place.- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path items, including escalation paths.Stakeholder Communication :- Act as a liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients to facilitate a collaborative working environment.- Prepare and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations.Project Tracking and Reporting :- Use project management tools like MS Project and Jira to manage project delivery and track progress.- Manage progress reporting and provide project updates into the wider program reporting framework.- Participate in testing activities, executing business scenario cases, and coordinating user acceptance testing.Requirements :Experience :- 10 to 15 years of project management experience in the software product industry.- Proven track record of managing software development projects from inception to completion.- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.Technical Skills :- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project and Jira.- Experience with risk management and project tracking techniques.- Familiarity with software testing processes and user acceptance testing.Soft Skills :- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Education :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
