Job Description :We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented DevOps Security Operations Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in integrating security best practices throughout the DevOps lifecycle for our Azure cloud environment. You will leverage your knowledge of DevOps principles and security practices to automate security testing, infrastructure provisioning, and deployment processes.Responsibilities :DevOps Security Automation :- Develop and implement security checks and controls within the DevOps pipeline using Azure DevOps tools (e., pipelines, repositories).- Automate security testing throughout the development lifecycle to identify and remediate vulnerabilities early.- Integrate security best practices into infrastructure as code (IaC) configurations using Terraform.Security Operations :- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts generated from Azure security services and DevOps pipelines.- Investigate potential security incidents and collaborate with the security team to take appropriate mitigation actions.- Participate in security incident response (SIR) activities and improve existing security controls.Cloud Security and Compliance :- Maintain a strong understanding of Azure security best practices and compliance requirements.- Participate in security audits and assessments of cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes.- Assist in implementing security policies and procedures for the cloud environment.Collaboration and Communication :- Collaborate effectively with developers, security engineers, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of security into the development and deployment process.- Communicate security findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.Qualifications :- 1-3 years of experience in a DevOps or security operations role.- Experience working with Azure DevOps and related tools (i.e., Azure Pipelines, repositories).- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools like Terraform (a plus).- Understanding of cloud security principles and practices, preferably in Azure.- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and development workflows.- Experience with security testing tools and techniques (a plus).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes (ref:hirist.tech)
