Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Snowflake Developer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions on the Snowflake platform. Leveraging your expertise in SQL, scripting languages, and cloud technologies, you will contribute to building a scalable, secure, and efficient data ecosystem.Requirements:- 2-4 years of experience in developing data solutions using Snowflake.- Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, data warehousing concepts, and best practices.- Experience with writing and optimizing SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation in Snowflake.- Familiarity with Snowflake security features such as encryption, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).Cloud and DevOps:- Basic understanding of AWS cloud architecture and services (e.g, EC2, S3, Lambda) is a plus.Scripting and Development:- Experience with Python and shell scripting for automating tasks related to data pipelines or data management (a plus).DevOps Practices:- Good understanding of DevOps principles and basic familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.Additional Skills:- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Snowflake certification (e.g, SnowPro Core) is a plus.Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.- Design and implement data models and schemas to optimize data storage and retrieval efficiency.- Write and execute complex SQL queries to analyze and extract insights from data stored in Snowflake.- Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and Snowflake performance.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Snowflake and related technologies.
