Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Wherescape and SSAS Developer to join our growing team. Working remotely, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse architecture using Wherescape and Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). Leveraging your expertise in data warehousing concepts and ETL tools, you will ensure the efficient and accurate transformation and analysis of data for our business intelligence needs.Mandatory Key Skills:Wherescape Expertise:- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing data warehouse solutions using Wherescape.- Proficiency in Wherescape Designer for creating data models, mappings, and transformations.- Experience with Wherescape Transporter for automating data lineage and impact analysis.SSAS Development:- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) for multidimensional data modeling.- Experience in designing and building dimensional models (star schema, snowflake schema) for efficient data analysis.- Ability to develop and maintain MDX queries for complex data retrieval from SSAS cubes.ETL Tools and SQL:- Experience with ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, etc.) for data extraction, transformation, and loading (a plus).- Strong understanding of SQL for data manipulation and querying relational databases.Responsibilities:- Design and develop data warehouse solutions using Wherescape, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.- Utilize Wherescape to automate ETL processes and maintain data lineage for traceability.- Develop and maintain multidimensional data models in SSAS to meet the analytical requirements of the business.- Write and optimize MDX queries to retrieve and analyze data from SSAS cubes.- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Wherescape, SSAS, and data warehousing technologies (ref:hirist.tech)
