Job Description :We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Senior Data Scientist to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in driving impactful business decisions through advanced data analytics and machine learning expertise. You will be responsible for the entire data science lifecycle, from problem identification to model development and communication of insights.Responsibilities :Strategic Data-Driven Solutions :- Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex challenges into actionable data science projects with a clear focus on ROI.- Develop and implement innovative statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data mining approaches to address critical business problems across the organization.- Design, build, and deploy scalable data-driven solutions that deliver measurable results and enhance decision-making capabilities.Advanced Analytics and Modeling :- Define, develop, maintain, and evolve data models, tools, and capabilities to support sophisticated data analysis and predictive modeling.- Utilize a broad range of advanced machine learning algorithms (e., deep learning, ensemble methods) to solve a variety of business challenges (e., customer segmentation, churn prediction, recommendation systems).- Ensure model interpretability and explainability for clear communication to stakeholders.Data Visualization and Communication :- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using cutting-edge tools beyond standard BI platforms (Tableau, Spotfire, Qlikview) to effectively communicate insights and findings to diverse audiences.- Present complex data science concepts with clarity and persuasion to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, marketing) to ensure successful integration of data-driven solutions.Qualifications :- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a data science or related role, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering successful and impactful data-driven solutions.- Strong understanding of statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms (including deep learning), data mining, and text mining.- Extensive programming proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages, with expertise in building and deploying production-ready machine learning models.- Experience with big data platforms like Hadoop and its ecosystem (e., Hive, Pig, Spark) is a plus.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.- Ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and translate technical concepts into clear business insights.- Strong leadership qualities and a passion for mentoring junior data scientists.- A continuous learner with a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning (ref:hirist.tech)
