Our Values :- Take Charge - Build Trust - Thrive Together - Pursue Excellence - Focus on Quality Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Product Manager to lead our product management team for the development of new drone hardware, connected software, and cloud platform initiatives.As the Principal Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction, development, and execution of our software, hardware and AI/ML products. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch and ongoing optimization, ensuring seamless integration and delivering unparalleled value to our customers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a complex technical environment and relish solving challenging problems while balancing the inputs of various stakeholders.Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for both drone hardware and cloud platform solutions. - Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development process, including gathering requirements, defining features, prioritizing tasks, and coordinating with engineering, design, and QA teams. - Hardware-Software Integration: Manage the seamless integration between hardware and software components, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and user experience. - Cloud Platform Management: Oversee the development and enhancement of our cloud platform, focusing on scalability, security, and interoperability with drone hardware. - Customer Focus: Conduct market research, gather customer feedback, and analyze user data to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to align product goals, communicate updates, and drive successful product launches. - Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate product success, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Team Leadership: Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to product management teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field. - At least one degree in a technical field is required. - Proven experience of 7-8 years in product management roles, with a focus on managing hardware and software products in an interconnected ecosystem. - Strong understanding of one or more of the following concepts is highly preferable: drone technology, cloud computing, and IoT (Internet of Things) - Any demonstrated expertise in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) is highly desirable. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. - Strategic thinker with a track record of translating business objectives into actionable product plans and roadmaps. - Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive product optimization. - Proven leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing product management teams. - Agile mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (ref:hirist.tech)
