It mainly serves the telecommunications, aerospace/defense, industrial, computer, and semiconductor industries.Job Description :As a QA R&D Engineer, you will be at the forefront of testing and quality assurance for cutting-edge HSD solutions. You will leverage a wide range of test techniques, tools, and methodologies to ensure our EDA products meet the highest standards.Key Responsibilities :- Software Testing & Qualification:- Test and qualify Keysight HSD software solutions and simulation software like ADS, SIPro, PIPro.- Conduct functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and supportability testing for EEsof EDA tools.- Automation & Manual Testing:- Execute automated test cases and manual testing to ensure product quality.- Design flow testing of EEsof EDA tools with a focus on HSD applications.- Defect & Improvement Management:- Identify and capture defects and design flow breakages during the software development cycle.- Recommend improvements to enhance software for HSD applications.- Agile Development & QA Plans:- Participate in Agile Scrum teams, focusing on sprint tasks and goals.- Create and execute QA Test Plans for new product features.- Generate automated test cases and scripts for regression testing.- Customer Interaction & Support:- Engage in Early Access/Beta testing programs and support customers.- Analyze customer-reported defects and convert them into design flows and test cases.- Support various quality initiatives and ensure customer issues are addressed promptly.Essential Qualifications:- Educational Background:- PHD in Electronics Professional Experience :- 4-12 years of experience in the High-Speed Digital domain.- Proficiency in signal and power integrity modeling and simulation using EDA tools such as KeysightADS.- Expertise in high-speed design boards in pre-layout and post-layout simulation scenarios.- Strong knowledge of high-speed digital interfaces like DDR (DDR4, LPDDR4, DDR5, LPDDR5), PCIe (Gen 3, 4, 5), etc.- Experience in designing, simulating, and validating compliance tests on High-Speed Interfaces (PCIe, MIPI, USB, HDMI, DDR4/5).Technical Skills :- Familiarity with scripting programming languages like Python and Shell.- Experience with designing and analyzing multi-gigabit serial links (PCIe, Ethernet, MIPI, SATA, USB).Soft Skills :- Self-motivated and self-organized.- Excellent team player, responsive, and accountable.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.Desirable Skills :- Familiarity with Agile software development methodology.- Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and Git source control.- Experience with Atlassian tools - Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins.
