Job Description :We are seeking a skilled and motivated Node.js Developer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining high-performance backend applications using Node.js. You will leverage your expertise in JavaScript and familiarity with jQuery to develop robust APIs and contribute to the overall development lifecycle.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and implement backend services using Node.js and Express.js framework.- Build and maintain efficient and scalable RESTful APIs for data access and manipulation.- Work with various data sources (databases, external APIs) to integrate data into backend services.- Implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms.- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices.- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services with the user interface (potentially using jQuery).- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality within the team.- Assist with DevOps tasks for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) of applications (a plus).- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Node.js, JavaScript, and related web development technologies.- Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues to ensure application stability and performance.Technical Skills (Required) :- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's- 4-6 years of experience in developing backend applications using Node.js and JavaScript.- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming concepts in JavaScript.- Proficiency in Express.js framework for building robust APIs.- Experience with database technologies (i.e., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) for data persistence (a plus).- Familiarity with jQuery for potential front-end integration (a plus).- Experience with unit testing frameworks (i.e., Mocha, Jest) for writing unit tests.- Basic understanding of version control systems (i.e., Git) and CI/CD practices.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and meet deadlines (ref:hirist.tech)
