About the Role :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure the scalability, stability, and responsiveness of our applications. You will have a strong understanding of performance engineering principles and a deep expertise in the Seagull performance testing tool, particularly for Diameter protocol testing.Responsibilities :- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionalities and performance requirements.- Design and develop comprehensive performance test plans, scenarios, and scripts using Seagull (Diameter protocol), LoadRunner (HTTPS/HTTPS & WebServices protocol), and NeoLoad (web HTTP/HTML, Webservices, SAP protocol).- Configure and manage performance testing tools and platforms.- Execute performance tests under various load conditions and analyze results.- Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions for improvement.- Document performance test results and present findings to stakeholders.- Stay up-to-date with the latest performance testing tools and methodologies.- Participate in code reviews and provide performance-related feedback.- Manage and maintain performance testing infrastructure.Qualifications :- 5-8 years of experience in performance testing.- In-depth expertise in Seagull performance testing tool, particularly for Diameter protocol testing.- Strong experience with LoadRunner (HTTPS/HTTPS & WebServices protocol) and NeoLoad (web HTTP/HTML, Webservices, SAP protocol) is a plus.- Familiarity with various performance testing methodologies (e. Load Testing, Stress Testing, Endurance Testing).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.- Experience with scripting languages (e., JavaScript, Python) is a plus.- Experience with performance monitoring tools (e. AppDynamics, Dynatrace) is a plus.- Customer handling experience to ensure timely deliverables, meetings and other BAU activities (ref:hirist.tech)
