The IoT Product Manager drives the development and execution of IoT products and services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality IoT experiences to customers and define product strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of IoT technologies, market trends, and the ability to translate customer needs into innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities :- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for IOT solutions, from ideation to launch.- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify IOT trends and opportunities.- Define product requirements and features based on customer feedback and business objectives.- Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize and execute product features. - Well-conversed with product lifecycle management, ideation, personas etc.- Design, develop, and deploy IoT/Cloud-based applications using TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js and ReactJS within Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, UI/UX developers, Web and Mobile developers, and SQA teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of IoT applications.- Proactively identify and mitigate risks and failure modes early in the development lifecycle by developing proof of concepts (POCs).- Demonstrate assertive communication and strong teamwork skills while working self-directed and highly motivated.- Utilize strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.- Create and maintain product roadmaps and timelines.- Work with UX/UI teams to ensure a seamless user experience for IoT products.- Drive go-to-market strategies for IOT products, including pricing and positioning.- Measure and analyze product performance, using data to make informed product decisions.- Communicate product updates and releases to internal and external stakeholders.- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in IOT technology. Required Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.- Proven 8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on IOT products and good IoT experience.- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js application development.- Strong knowledge of Azure or AWS Cloud Platform services including Azure Functions/AWS Lambda, GraphQL, NoSQL databases, Azure Event Bus/AWS Kinesis, and Queues like SNS/SQS topics.- Experience with ReactJS and expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6 or greater, HTML5, and CSS development.- Ability to write automated unit test cases and experience with microservices architecture.- Very good experience with Source Control Management tools like Git, Bitbucket, etc.- Experience in executing CI/CD processes, preferably with CircleCI or Azure DevOps.- Preferably full-stack development knowledge with expertise in the React framework.- Excellent problem-solving skills with good logical and analytical thinking.
