Production Support entails fixing any issues that arise on their live Data & Analytics Environment, running today. Support Engineers are able to look at infrastructure (cloud servers), ETL code or datasets and assess issues - provide a resolution. Skills include : Azure tech stack, ETL (Databricks python/spark), SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Data Fabric (sample resume below).About the Role :We are seeking a highly skilled Data & Analytics Production Support Engineer to join our growing team in Bangalore. - In this critical role, you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues that arise in our live data and analytics environment. - You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our data pipelines and analytics tools, allowing users to access the insights they need to make informed decisions. Responsibilities :- Proactively monitor the health and performance of the data and analytics environment using Azure monitoring tools. - Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure (cloud servers), ETL code (Databricks Python/Spark), datasets, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Microsoft Data Fabric).- Implement solutions to resolve production issues in a timely and efficient manner. - Work collaboratively with developers and data analysts to identify and resolve complex technical problems. - Document incidents, resolutions, and knowledge base articles for future reference. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Azure technologies, ETL tools, and data visualization tools. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or a related field. - Minimum 6 years of experience directly relevant to Production Support in a data and analytics environment. - Strong understanding of the Azure cloud platform, including Azure Data Services and Azure Monitor. - In-depth knowledge of ETL processes and tools (Databricks Python/Spark). - Proficiency in SQL querying and data manipulation techniques. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Data Fabric. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
