Azure Infrastructure Engineer - Solution Design & Implementation (7-10 yrs)

About the Role :We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.- In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and managing our infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.- You will work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and other IT professionals to ensure our cloud environment is secure, scalable, and cost-effective.Responsibilities : Infrastructure Design and Deployment : - Design and implement infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure based on project requirements.- Utilize Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Web Apps, Application Gateway, Service Bus, Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Azure Databricks.- Develop and manage Terraform modules for infrastructure provisioning and configuration.- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices using Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.Security and Compliance : - Implement security best practices and controls for Azure resources, leveraging Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Azure AD Application Proxy, and Azure AD Pass Through Authentication (PTA).- Utilize Terraform Security (TFSec) tool to identify and remediate potential security vulnerabilities in Terraform configurations.- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) for Azure subscriptions, ensuring least privilege access.Automation and Scripting : - Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automating infrastructure tasks and deployments.- Integrate Azure DevOps with Azure Repos for version control and CI/CD pipelines.Monitoring and Troubleshooting : - Implement monitoring solutions for Azure resources using Azure Monitor and other tools.- Troubleshoot issues with Terraform deployments and other Azure services.- Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure problems.- Recommend best practices for optimizing infrastructure performance and cost.Networking : - Possess a strong understanding of networking concepts and VPN policies.- Configure and manage virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups within Azure.Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).- 2+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.- Proven experience with Terraform and Terraform Security (TFSec) tools.- Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Repos.- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automating infrastructure tasks.- Working knowledge of Azure services, including AKS, Web Apps, Application Gateway, Service Bus, Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, ADLS, and Azure Databricks.- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and experience implementing security best practices in Azure.- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.- Strong communication and collaboration skills (ref:hirist.tech)
