Title : SDET Experience : 6-8 years for SDET.Work Location : Bangalore (Onsite)Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days Max onlyRequired Skills (Mandatory) : API and web testing Selenium and rest Assured.Job Description :We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. As an SDET, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications through automation testing. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and execute tests efficiently.Key Responsibilities :- Develop and execute automated tests for web applications using Selenium.- Create automated API tests using Rest Assured or similar tools.- Design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks for UI and API testing.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, gather automation requirements, and deliver robust test automation solutions.- Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content.- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Required Skills and Experience :- Strong experience in automated testing of web applications using Selenium WebDriver.- Proficiency in creating automated API tests using Rest Assured or similar tools.- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.- Experience with test management tools and CI/CD pipelines.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.Preferred Skills :- Experience with performance and security testing.- Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
