We are seeking a technical software engineer to join a highly entrepreneurial, collaborative organization that is looking to become a leader in the Human Capital Management (HCM) space. Responsibilities: Provide technical guidance in software design and development activities. Assist in maintenance and upgrades of existing software applications. Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements. Provide support in all phases of SDLC and ensure to deliver high-quality products. Provide training and mentor other Engineers when required. Analyze and troubleshoot application issues in a timely fashion. Develop most effective technical solutions to meet business requirements. Work with other Engineers in planning, prioritizing and executing assigned tasks within deadlines. Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities. Attend team meetings to communicate project status and discuss about new ideas and any issues. Recommend new technologies to ensure quality and productivity. Assist in technical audits and make sure to implement audit recommendations. Make business presentations to management when needed. Work with QA team in preparing test cases, plans and procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering/Technology or Master of Computer Applications from an accredited institution, having consistent academic results (60% or above). Must have relevant experience of 5-8 Years in API Software development Understanding of middleware and integration technology. Required API product expertise, API design patterns. Develops the code based on high level design and low-level design. Executes the unit testing. Exposure of API Security: API Key Validation, Authentication, Authorization and Identity Proficient with Application Servers like TOMCAT Good hands-on development experience with Core Java and good background on other languages like JavaScript, Node.js and other API related technologies Required to have strong object-oriented programming experience using Java and knowledge of collection multithreading, data structures. Strong communication and collaboration skills , a knack for problem-solving, a desire to enhance user experience, and a passion for technology. Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of installation and configuration, platform operations ,trouble shoot and support of API products. Good experience of creating APIs and integrating third party APIs, RESTful services and JSON/SOAP.
