Description:
Roles and Responsibilities :- To study existing ML/DL model with product point of view to provide input on study protocol, design studies as Data scientist- To Identify and design statistical methods for data analysis, and conduct the actual analysis once datasets and outputs are ready.- Planning and implementation of data collection, data sampling and data quality assurance plans.- To keep updated on new developments and research in the field of statistical learning and quality assurance.- To do proper documentation of relevant protocols, test plans.- To Employ remote sensing fundamentals and technologies in developing state-of-the-art industrial products.- Process and generate insights from large Earth Observation datasets.- Carry out research activities on different sectors that can take advantage of space-based insights such as agriculture, infrastructure, disaster management, etc.- Work with the Remote Sensing and Engineering team to push solutions into production workflows.- Empowering the machine learning team with rich training and test datasets for different problems.Qualifications :- Master's degree or Phd degree in Mathematics or Computer Science.- 4-5 years of professional experience.Must have :- 4-5 year programming in Python/C++ (includes coding experience during academics).- Experience working with large scale data in mixed method research.- Expert-level proficiency in statistical/ML predictive techniques.- Good hands on experience with Computer Vision Techniques .- Strong math skills (e.g Statistics, Calculus, Probability, algebra).Good to have :- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.- Understanding of DS/ML modeling, Analytical mind, able to dissect data in all perspectives.Benefits:- Medical Health Cover for you and your family including unlimited online doctor consultations.- Access to mental health experts for you and your family.- Dedicated allowances for learning and skill development.- Comprehensive leave policy with casual leaves, paid leaves, marriage leaves, bereavement leaves.- Twice a year appraisal (ref:hirist.tech)
