Purpose of the Position :Support the management of the Development department including providing technical direction, daily operation, whole life-cycle project management, and oversight of one functional team (3~8 team members) to ensure meet our clients (internal and external) business needs as well as technology strategy. Plays a key role in supporting the execution of project delivery for owned team. Takes an active role and day-to-day contributor to several strategic technology projects.II. Principal Responsibilities :Responsibilities :1. Execution & Project Management :- Manage a functional teams (Be responsible for specific systems) daily operations and Perform oversight. - Oversee multiple project teams to ensure delivery on commitment with quality for whole life-cycle development activities by providing technical direction.- Develop specific goals and plans for the project teams to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.2. Team Management :- Develop and retain a high performing team by providing effective leadership, effective coaching, recruiting, and performance evaluation to team members. Identify, develop, and mentor employees on software development career paths. - Organize performance evaluation to team members to ensure team effectiveness.3. Solution Design & Architecture- Provide innovative prototyping & solutions based on a deep understanding of clients- problem coupled with an intimate knowledge of our business and applying industry leading thinking to the problem solving process. - Support consistence and implementation of architecture standards across all projects in owned teams.4. Continuous Improvement :- Develop and manage process required for change management efforts, and system training to support projects roll-outs (i.e. policy changes, data migration, etc). Share lessons learned throughout to improve performance across the team.- The above responsibilities are not inclusive. Other responsibilities may be assigned to this job position depending on business needs.Minimum Qualifications :- Education Background Major Computer Science or related major- Degree Bachelor- Licenses/Certificates N/A- Working Experience Minimum 10 years of working experience in the development team, including 1+ years in a supervisory role- Minimum 1+ years of project management experienceCompetencies, Skills and Behaviors :- Technology Skill set: Minimum 5 -7 years of experience with ASP.NET, C#, MVC, MS-SQL, jQuery, Entity Framework and frequently used design patterns/principles.- Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem solving skills- Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to listen, question, and understand clients needs relative to enterprise software solutions- Ability to manage and prioritize ones own activities with competing internal and client requests- Experienced user of MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel.- Expert for software design and development concepts, database structures, system integration principles and code repository management.- Good management insight.- Strong English Written and Oral skill (ref:hirist.tech)
