Job Description : To create overall technical vision for a specific solution to business problem.Detailed Job Responsibilities : - Designing, Modifying, and Testing Technical Architecture - Working on OTT architecture, CDNs, Video transcoding, AWS technologies- Defining architecture for each and performance strategy for PWA (Progressive Web App)- Work with third party partners for integration and implementations- Provide supervision and guidance to development teams- Leading the team for developing Smart TV, STB (set-top-box), Mobile apps for OTT (Over the top) video streaming service (including but not limited to Android TV, tvOS, Roku, HTML5 based smart TV platforms)- Complete ownership of meeting deadlines and timelines of integration and deployment- Knowledge of software development process.- Working on projects which involve Javascript, Vue.js, MPEGDASH, Webpack, BrightScript, Wide Wine, Fairplay, PlayReady-DRM, Billing, Analytics- Integrations using SOAP & REST Apis, AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway based implementation - Deploy API integrations for Payment gateways, wallets, telcos for billing, video streaming etc- Offline/Online license acquisition, client authorization, policy overrides etc.- Managing an update release schedule across OSs and devices- Ensure QC before releases for excellent end user experience of the app with least technical complaintsBudgeting Control & Optimization : - Ensure all system & features are optimized as per budgets.- Reduce cost of operations- Share reports & analytics for budget projectionsJob Specification : To be successful in this role the resource must be have : - 7 to 10yrs experience in working on Consumer Technology products (OTT, VOD Apps preferred)- Excellent Project Management skills- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines- Ability to foresee dependencies in integrations and implementations beforehand and proactively plan solutions accordingly - Good at team management and optimal resource allocationDESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : - Graduate / Post-Graduate (ref:hirist.tech)
