About the Role :We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled SAP ABAP Solution Architect to join our team. In this critical role, you will play a strategic leadership role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex SAP solutions using ABAP. You will leverage your deep technical expertise and business acumen to ensure our SAP system aligns with evolving business needs and supports our overall digital transformation strategy.Responsibilities :- Lead the design and development of complex SAP ABAP solutions, leveraging advanced programming techniques and best practices.- Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical blueprints and specifications.- Architect and implement scalable, performant, and secure ABAP solutions that meet enterprise-level needs.- Lead and mentor a team of ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning.- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP coding standards and best practices.- Perform gap analysis and identify opportunities for system optimization and automation using ABAP.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ABAP technology, SAP S/4HANA, and industry trends.- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new SAP tools and technologies.- Develop and implement strategies for data migration, security, and disaster recovery.- Document technical solutions and provide ongoing support to end-users.Qualifications :- 10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development and solution architecture.- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex SAP ABAP projects.- In-depth knowledge of ABAP programming language, including advanced features like object-oriented programming (ABAP OO), Web Dynpro development, and Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs).- Expertise in SAP data management, including data dictionary objects, tables, and interfaces.- Strong understanding of SAP system architecture, configuration, and integration with other systems.- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration and development is a plus.- Experience with SAP Solution Manager and other development tools is a plus.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (ref:hirist.tech)
