Primary Duties And Responsibilities : - Develop technical/functional design documents, for enterprise deployment of all components of Qualys Vulnerability and Configuration Management, Detection & Response, Microsoft MDE, Microsoft Defender for Cloud.- Provides technical leadership of these capabilities and projects involving the large-scale, complex, and highly analytical tasks.- Formulates methodologies to monitor for as well as respond to security related events and assist in remediation efforts of cyber security incidents.- Engage with application and system owners to identify attack vectors and write monitoring rules to detect attacks in the environment.- Defines functional and non-functional requirements for the acquisition, development, deployment and change management lifecycle of security systems, and provide oversight to ensure compliance.- Participate in response to information system security breach simulations or incidents, including investigation of, countermeasures to, and recovery from, computer-based attacks, unauthorized access, and policy breaches; engages, interacts and coordinates with third-party incident responders.- Provides technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to other ISO Engineers in executing their tasks & responsibilities.- Coordinates with other IT teams to design, develop and implement security systems that protect company physical and intangible assets effectively.- Consults with other business and technical staff on potential business impacts of proposed changes to the security environment.- Analyze and generate insights from the metrics and KPIs gathered for executive review.- Work closely with information security and line of business management to identify, formulate and implement information security solutions and controls and to maintain and configure security tooling.- Coordinates with systems and network engineers to ensure endpoints, servers and network devices conform to security standards and that security capabilities and controls are working as designed.- Communicates advanced information security concepts with clients, peers, and all levels of management and vendors effectively.- Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for product research and development teams, working closely with software engineers, product management and development, and divisional and corporate information systems.- Support and enhance established processes in support of operational excellence and continuous improvement activities.- Mentor and guide junior members of the team.- Evangelize Information Security principles to business and IT partners to improve and build a broader circle of Information Security awareness. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Education :- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or other related discipline or equivalent related experience. WORK EXPERIENCE :- 6-13 years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in information security and the IT Infrastructure operations.- Qualys, MDE & C, SNS, MITRE, Cybersecurity, Engineering.- Experience designing enterprise security 3-tier solutions; planning and deploying, to a complex global enterprise, all component of Qualys Vulnerability Management, Detection and Response including Cloud Agent VM, Cloud Agent SCA, SwCA, Virtual Scanner, Network scanners; continuous product lifecycle management. SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE : Behavioral Skills :- Strong Written and Oral Communications.- Ability to Collaboration across multifunctional teams.- Creativity & Innovation.- Planning and Decision Making.- Ability to navigate complex organizations and work within a matrix reporting structure. Technical Skills :- Expertise of Qualys VMDR Platform.- Deep understanding of Network Security, Solutions and Systems.- Application Architecture Design.- Threat Modelling.- Integration Design and Testing.- Cybersecurity Engineering.- Root Cause Analysis.- IT Risk Management.Preferred Certifications :- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).- Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).- Azure Security Engineer Certification.- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP). Tools Knowledge :- Security Tools: Qualys, EDR (MDE, CrowdStrike), SIEM/SOAR, CSPM/CWPP (MDC).- Productivity Tools: Microsoft Office Suite including Visio, JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow.- Operating Systems: MS Window 10, MS Windows Server 2012+, Redhat/SLES/Ubuntu/CentOS/Oracle Linux, MAC OS Sonoma +.
