Be AccountableAbout This Opportunity :Responsibilities :As a Software Engineer your areas of expertise include programming in javascript, implementing software engineering best practices in design, development, and utilization of APIs in cloud platforms. You have a passion for hands-on coding, putting quality first, delivering an exceptional experience to App Developers, Customers, and drive efficiency through the creation of extendable and re-usable service components.You will also ensure that the components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. If required, you must be willing to wear any of the other hats that is required to make the project successful and always ready to learn new technology on the fly and deliver the results.Educational & Required Qualifications :- Overall 6+ years of experience in industry- Extremely proficient with python and java programming languages- Proficient in developing Restful APIs- Exposure to spark framework and data crunching- 6+ years of experience in any relation database(Oracle/Postgres).- 2+ years of experience in various cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).- Must have experience with Distributed Technologies like Kafka, Spark, Zookeeper.- Experience in software development life cycle activities.- Proficient in testing frameworks to design and integrate quality tests during development.- Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines built with GitHub, Maven, and Jenkins, etc.- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.- Experience leading and mentoring team members to help grow to their full potential.- Ability to understand business requirements and translate into technical requirements.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.- Familiarity with code versioning tools - Git (Gitlab).- Exposure to retail industry, experience with e-commerce applications.7-Eleven Global Solution Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
