Description:

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in bridging the gap between development and operations, by automating workflows, streamlining deployments, and ensuring the smooth delivery and maintenance of our applications. Leveraging your knowledge of DevOps principles and your eagerness to learn, you will contribute to building and maintaining a reliable and scalable infrastructure.Responsibilities :- Assist senior engineers in automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform or Ansible.- Participate in the development and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues proactively.- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related problems.- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high coding standards within the team (a plus).- Learn and implement infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools (e.g, Prometheus, Grafana).- Assist with security best practices for infrastructure and application deployments (a plus).- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in DevOps tools and methodologies.- Maintain accurate documentation for DevOps processes and tools.Technical Skills (Required) :- 1-3 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Understanding of core DevOps principles and methodologies (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).- Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g, Ubuntu, CentOS).- Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash or Python (a plus).- Experience with version control systems (e.g, Git).- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.Educational Qualification :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) (ref:hirist.tech)
