Job Description :Objectives of CTO role :- Identifying and evaluating the latest technologies, Competitive analysis, assessing their potential for strategic advantage and business impact.- Collaborating closely with executive leadership, business units, and stakeholders to understand their technology needs and drive technology-enabled business initiatives.- Providing strong leadership and guidance to the technology teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.- Accelerating innovation initiatives to enhance our products, services and processes for optimum efficiency.- Managing relationships with technology vendors and partners, evaluating and selecting the most suitable solutions and services.- Overseeing the development and implementation of scalable and secure technology systems, software solutions and infrastructure.CTO tasks :- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy tailored to the company's business objectives, Modularity, Scalability and operational efficiency.- Presentation to leadership team while obtaining products approval, Create and manage the technology budget, optimising resource allocation and ensuring cost-effective solutions.- Oversee and drive the R&D (Electronics), D&D (Hardware) design and development, Manufacturing and implementation of robust technical architectures, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry's best practices.- Develop and implement disaster & risk recovery plans and business continuity strategies.- Establish and maintain efficient and reliable technology operations, Modular and Scalable designs process including systems infrastructure.- Stay aware of the Competition, latest tech advancements to provide strategic insights and recommendations for maintaining our technological edge.Required skills and qualifications :- Tech/M. Tech in Electronics and Electrical (EE) Engineering or a related field.- 20+ years of overall experience as a technology officer or in a similar senior technology leadership role including 5+ as CTO preferably in the Indian market.- Extensive knowledge of product development methodologies, infrastructure management, and manufacturing best practices.- Leading the Research, Design and Development Team for various type of Drones and Subsystem & components designs for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).- Provide technical solutions to complex problems and participate in project architecture and planning activities with excellent knowledge about Basic Electronic Components - MCU, PCB design, I2C, SPI, CAN protocols, etc.- Firmware (Embedded C/C++), Software, Hardware designs, Material selection, Manufacturing process, etc.- Participating in Leadership team meetings updating the management with MIS and other relevant reports for seeking approvals.- Excellent leadership, Softspoken, good behavioural traits, resolving conflicts among cross functional teams and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing technology teams.- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale technology projects, delivering results on time and within budget.- Review, participate in discussion to resolve technical issues, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights for informed decision-making (ref:hirist.tech)
