Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Node.js Developer to join our growing development team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable Node.js applications. Leveraging your in-depth knowledge of Node.js, JavaScript, and modern web development practices, you will contribute to the creation of high-performance, efficient, and user-friendly web applications.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and implement features for web applications using Node.js, Express. js, and other relevant frameworks. - Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices.- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to translate requirements into functional Node.js applications.- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality within the team.- Develop unit tests and integration tests to ensure code functionality and application stability.- Troubleshoot and debug complex application issues to identify and resolve bugs efficiently.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Node.js, JavaScript, and web development technologies.- Assist with DevOps tasks for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) of applications (a plus).Technical Skills (Required) :- 6-8 years of experience in developing web applications with Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+).- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming concepts and Node.js event loop.- Proficiency in a popular Node.js framework (e., Express.js).- Experience with relational databases (e., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and database access technologies (e. , Mongoose, Sequelize).- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e., Jest, Mocha) for writing unit tests.- Basic understanding of version control systems (e., Git) and CI/CD practices.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.Educational Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) (ref:hirist.tech)
