About the job Job Title: Clinical Data Analyst Overview: The Clinical Data Analyst plays a crucial role in healthcare research and development by analyzing and interpreting complex clinical data. This position ensures data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards to support evidence-based decision-making.The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to extract, transform, and analyze diverse healthcare data for research, clinical trials, and quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Collect, clean, and validate clinical data from various sources. Analyze and interpret clinical data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Develop and maintain databases for clinical research and reporting purposes. Execute statistical analyses to support clinical studies and research projects. Generate and present in-depth reports and data visualizations to support decision-making. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and clinical standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and researchers to understand data requirements. Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain data accuracy and reliability. Participate in the design and implementation of clinical research protocols. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in clinical data analysis. Provide support for data-driven decision-making processes within the organization. Identify opportunities to enhance data collection and analysis processes. Contribute to the development and optimization of data management processes. Work closely with IT teams to ensure data security and integrity. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Health Informatics, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in clinical data management and analysis, preferably within the Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry. Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies and regulatory requirements. Ability to apply statistical methods to analyze healthcare data. Experience with data visualization tools and techniques. Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and healthcare databases. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams. Knowledge of healthcare terminologies and coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, CPT). Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential data. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret complex clinical data. Adherence to ethical standards and data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry advancements and tools.
