Description:
Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation across various formats, including user guides, reference manuals, online help content, API documentation, and marketing materials.- Collaborate with SMEs, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information, clarify technical details, and ensure content accuracy.- Conduct user research and analysis to understand target audiences and their needs.- Apply technical writing principles to structure information logically and ensure clarity and usability.- Utilize appropriate tools and technologies for content creation, editing, and version control (e.g, DITA, MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker).- Maintain brand consistency and style across all documentation.- Stay current with best practices in technical writing and content development.- Contribute to the development and maintenance of content style guides and templates.- Assist with the creation of training materials and presentations.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.- 2-6 years of experience as a Technical Writer or a related role.- Strong understanding of technical writing principles (e.g, information architecture, single-sourcing, audience analysis).- Experience in developing documentation for various technical audiences.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt writing styles quickly.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).- Experience with content management systems (CMS) a plus.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills (ref:hirist.tech)
