About the Role :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UI Developer (React) to join our team and play a key role in building and maintaining our B2C or B2B travel booking platform for flights and hotels. You will leverage your expertise in React JS and related technologies to develop user-friendly, high-performing, and scalable web interfaces. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers in an agile environment, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for our travel booking platform using React JS, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices.- Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect and functional React components.- Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to integrate frontend components with backend services using RESTful APIs.- Implement best practices and optimization techniques for clean, maintainable, and performant React code.- Actively participate in the entire Agile Scrum development lifecycle, including stand-up meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex UI-related issues, providing efficient and scalable solutions.- Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative learning environment within the team.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in React JS, UI/UX design trends, and travel booking technologies to ensure our platform remains competitive.Qualifications :- Minimum 6 years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on React JS.- Proven experience building user interfaces for B2C or B2B travel booking platforms (flights & hotels) is a strong plus.- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), React JS, Redux (or similar state management library), HTML5, CSS3 (preprocessors a plus).- Experience with integrating front-end applications with backend services using RESTful APIs.- Proficiency in using version control systems like Git.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex UI challenges.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment.- Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.- Passion for travel technology and a desire to innovate within the travel booking space (ref:hirist.tech)
