No longer choose between a rewarding career and meaningful connections to your roots.About the Role :We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer (React Js) for one of our partner companies, Woven, which is building an AI-powered data catalog + governance platform. If you're a seasoned Frontend Developer with a passion for data and frontend technologies and are excited about this space, we'd love to meet you.What You'll Do :- Be part of a high-performing cross functional founding team, and own the Frontend aspects of the platform.- Translating wireframes and mockups into high quality user-facing features- Effectively brainstorming and translating business requirements into technical specifications.- Create and manage clean, efficient, maintainable code using React JS/Next JS- Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.- Provide mentorship to junior developers and foster a collaborative environment.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers.What We Look For :- 8+ years of experience in Frontend Web Development.- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES12+) and Typescript ecosystem- Expertise in React JS and/or Next JS frameworks and frontend design patterns.- Skilled in web styling using Tailwind CSS, SCSS or similar.- Experience with design tools like Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, Sketch or similar.- Proficient with frontend development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, Yarn, Storybook, etc.- Experience with Git version control system and CICD pipeline.- Experience with Jira and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)- Experience using design systems - Flowbite, Ant, Material Design or similar- Ability to write tests using Jest, Mocha, Enzyme, Cypress or similar.- Knowledge of backend technologies and RESTful APIs- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide the product's technical direction.Nice To Have :- Previous experience working for product-based startups or companies.- Comfortable writing API endpoints using Python frameworks like Django, Flask, FastAPI or similar.Why AppExert ?
