Description:

Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks and scripts using Java and Selenium.- Create and execute comprehensive automated test cases covering various functionalities of our software.- Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other testers throughout the development lifecycle.- Perform thorough functional, regression, and performance testing to identify and resolve potential issues.- Analyze test results, diagnose defects, and report bugs to development teams for timely resolution.- Champion continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices by integrating automated testing into the pipeline.- Stay up-to-date with the latest automation trends and tools to continuously enhance our testing capabilities.- Participate actively in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and testability.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).- 4-9 years of experience in automation testing, with a strong focus on Java development.- In-depth knowledge of automation testing methodologies and best practices.- Proven experience in designing and implementing reusable automation frameworks.- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and other related testing tools (e.g, Cucumber, Robot Framework).- Working knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured (a plus).- Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g, Scrum, Kanban).- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.- Demonstrated passion for learning and staying current with industry advancements (ref:hirist.tech)
