Role Summary & Role Description :Data warehouse Developer with min 7-10 years of experience in Design, develop, implement, support and maintain business critical software on Oracle platform (12c,19c)Core/Must have skills :- Analysis and manipulation of data to support building new reports and modify existing reports- Good understanding of warehousing concepts (facts, dimensions, marts, cubes etc.)- Perform code reviews and unit testing of code on SQL and PL/SQL codes- Analyze SQL and PL/SQL codes and perform bug-fixing- Apply good coding practices- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications- Knowledge on DB Cloud services- Developing and maintaining Oracle database applications using SQL- Designing and developing database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and triggers using PL/SQL- Good knowledge on cursors.- Optimizing database performance by tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL code- Work on Proof of concepts and present to stakeholders- Complete end to end unit and functional testing- Test software applications to ensure responsiveness and efficiency- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software- Involved in technical designs and architecture and complete SDLC- Excellent communication and analytical skills- Ability to work both independently as well as within a team- Financial Services experience as a business analyst and / or developer- Knowledge on Agile Methodology- Production application support- Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skillsGood to have skills :- Knowledge of performance optimization, test-driven development, build tools, and version control systemWork Schedule : HybridWhy this role is important to us :Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients.
