Candidates with background in Health Insurance only need to applyJob Description :Our client, a leading name in the health insurance sector, is looking for a talented professional to join their team as the Director - Core Health Insurance Systems Information Technology. This role requires significant knowledge of health insurance and a proven track record of building technology platforms and solutions that enable business growth and innovation.Key Responsibilities :- Lead the strategic design, implementation, and evolution of core health insurance systems for both individual and group health insurance.- Collaborate with various functions including Product & Actuarial, Operations, Compliance, Risk Management, and Finance.- Build and leverage deep business strategy knowledge to deliver impactful core health insurance system implementations.- Guide the design and development of integrated solutions to meet current and future enterprise business strategies.- Manage vendor partnerships, including contract negotiations, licensing, and service level agreements.Qualifications :- Proven leadership experience in health insurance core systems with at least 15 years in the insurance industry.- Extensive knowledge of technical architecture and health insurance processes.- Demonstrated ability to implement technology solutions that align with business strategies and enhance customer experiences.- Experience in building technology implementations from scratch with a tangible business impact.- Strong organizational, vendor management, negotiation, and prioritization skills.Ideal Candidate Traits :- Passionate about understanding consumer behavior and cultural nuances.- Collaborative, able to work seamlessly across functions to solve customer-centric problems.- Transparent and open, thriving in environments that celebrate co-creation and collaboration.- Committed to excellence and taking full responsibility for team outputs.Reporting to : Chief Information Technology Officer (CTO) (ref:hirist.tech)
