Overview : As a Frontend Lead at Cricbuzz, you will play a key role in leading our frontend development team to deliver high-quality, user-centric web applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to create seamless user experiences and scalable front-end architectures. This role requires strong technical expertise in frontend technologies, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for mentoring and guiding team members. Responsibilities :- Led and mentor a team of front-end developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and coaching to foster growth and skill development.- Research, design, and implement elegant solutions to complex web user interface challenges.- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate product requirements into technical specifications and actionable tasks.- Architect and implement scalable, maintainable, and efficient front-end systems and components.- Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, testing strategies, and continuous integration practices.- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in frontend development, and champion their adoption within the team.- Collaborate effectively with backend developers to integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead a team, make technical decisions, and prioritize tasks effectively.- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for frontend codebases, including architecture diagrams, component libraries, and coding standards.- Ensure all front-end development work is well-documented to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.- Develop and update user guides, technical manuals, and API documentation as needed. Requirements & Skills :- Proven experience (5-8 years) as a frontend developer, with a track record of successfully delivering complex frontend solutions.- A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.- Good understanding of the principles of SEO.- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward addressing challenges.- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and client-side rendering (CSR) techniques.- Familiarity with frontend build tools and package managers (e.g, Webpack, Babel, npm).- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience working closely with designers.
