About the Role :Are you a seasoned Java Backend Developer with a knack for Spring Boot and microservices? We are looking for a dynamic professional to join our team and help us build robust backend systems. If you have a deep understanding of backend technologies and thrive in a collaborative environment, this opportunity is for you!Key Responsibilities:- Microservices Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code using Spring Boot.- System Design: Translate business requirements into technical specifications.- Code Quality: Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with new technologies to enhance development efficiency.Technical Skills :- Proficient in Java 8+ with strong knowledge of its ecosystems and design patterns.- Extensive experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.- Experience with Spring Boot with JPA (Hibernate).- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.- Familiarity with MVC, JDBC, and RESTful APIs.- Experience with both external and embedded databases.- Basic understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds.- Proficient in automated testing platforms and unit tests.- Good to have experience with containerization and microservices.- Working knowledge of Angular is a plus.Soft Skills :- Proficient with code versioning tools like Git.- Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle.- Experience with continuous integration tools.Desirable :- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.Education :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (ref:hirist.tech)
