Job Description :Position Summary : As a SIP/VoIP Test Engineer, your role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) systems. You'll be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and validating these communication technologies to ensure seamless voice services. Key Responsibilities :- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high availability and performance. - Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. - Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code. - Ensure designs comply with specifications. - Prepare and produce releases of software components. - Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review. Skills :- Strong knowledge of SIP/Networking is required. - Experience with SIP, Opensips/Freeswitch/Asterisk and an understanding of networking is required. - A good understanding of SIP call flow or similar protocol knowledge is required. - Strong knowledge on protocols like TCP , UDP , WSS is required. - Familiarity with Linux must be needed . - Ability to create scripts in shell, python- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms- Strong understanding of network testing tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, WinSCP. - Strong knowledge of testing life cycle and Agile is required. - Knowledge of Tools like Nagios, Kibana and Elasticsearch will be a plus. - Knowledge of call center applications will be a plus point. - Understanding the AWS cloud management system will be an advantage. - Problem-solving aptitude- Knowledge of docker, and Kubernetes will be an advantageQualifications :- B. Tech/M. Tech/MCA in Computer Science.
