Job Description :We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Tester to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data testing for both Azure and on-premises applications. This role involves working with data pipelines on Databricks, Power BI, Power Platform apps, SQL Server Stored Procedures, and WebApps developed on .Net/Angular frameworks.Responsibilities :- Conduct comprehensive manual testing of data pipelines on Databricks, ensuring data integrity and quality across various stages of data processing.- Perform detailed testing of Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure accurate data representation and functionality.- Test Power Platform applications, focusing on data flows, integrations, and user interfaces.- Validate SQL Server Stored Procedures to ensure accurate data retrieval and manipulation.- Execute functional and performance testing for WebApps built on .Net and Angular, ensuring robust and seamless user experiences.- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.- Collaborate with development teams to understand application features, functionalities, and data flows, providing feedback and recommendations for enhancements.- Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and defects, ensuring traceability and accountability throughout the testing process.- Provide insights and recommendations for test automation opportunities, contributing to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.- Participate in regular team meetings, providing updates on testing progress, challenges, and solutions.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for data testing and quality assurance.Work Schedule :This role requires team members to be onsite at the client location in Bangalore three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining two days.Qualifications :- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data testing.- Strong proficiency in manual testing, with a solid understanding of test automation principles and practices.- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Power BI, Power Platform, SQL Server, .Net, and Angular.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Join us and be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of data quality and application performance.
