Job Title: QA Engineer / Product TesterLocation: Bangalore (Hybrid)Job Type: Full-time Job DescriptionOur Bangalore based US Client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer / Product Tester to join their product dev team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software and web applications. This includes inspecting procedures and auditing processes post-production, as well as testing UX/UI, features, performance, and functionality to ensure they meet the expected standards. Key Responsibilities Product Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of Veeam Products and S3 Compatible Object Storage to ensure they meet required standards.Perform functional, integration, and regression testing to identify and manage defects.Record and manage defects, and report test results effectively. QA Methodologies: Apply software QA methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.Develop and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the User Interface team to improve the usability, usefulness, and desirability of web sites and applications.Ensure web services REST API and SOAP are tested and functioning as expected. Documentation: Prepare detailed test plans and reports to document testing phases and outcomes.Communicate findings and provide feedback to the development team and other stakeholders. Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Experience: 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance within a software environment, with a focus on manual testing.Demonstrable experience in testing Veeam Products and S3 Compatible Object Storage. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software testing principles, theories, and industry best practices.Proficiency in using various QA tools and methodologies.Knowledge of web services REST API and SOAP. Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases. Preferred Skills Experience with automated testing tools.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.Understanding of performance and security testing.
