Your role will involve managing the entire lifecycle of data science projects, from ideation through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals. Your leadership will ensure that our data-driven insights remain accurate, actionable, and cutting-edge, directly contributing to the company's success in a highly competitive market. This position demands strong analytical skills, proven team leadership, and the ability to communicate complex data concepts to stakeholders across the organization.Job Roles & Responsibilities : - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data scientists and analysts, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.- Set clear team goals and KPIs, evaluate performance, and provide feedback and coaching to ensure continuous professional growth and project alignment.- Manage the development and implementation of data science projects from conception to completion, ensuring they align with business objectives and deliver measurable results.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, network operations, and regulatory affairs, to define project scopes and deliverables.- Oversee the application of advanced statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling techniques to solve complex problems in network operations and market behavior analysis.- Ensure the team stays ahead of industry trends by adopting new technologies and methodologies where applicable.- Ensure the integrity and accessibility of data collected from various sources, overseeing its integration into a centralized data system.- Implement rigorous data quality control measures to maintain the accuracy and reliability of data analyses and reports.- Communicate key insights and findings to senior management and stakeholders through clear, detailed reports and presentations.- Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that data insights are accessible and actionable for all relevant parties.- Foster an environment of innovation within the team, encouraging exploration of new data sources and analytical techniques to improve project outcomes.- Keep abreast of academic research and industry developments to continuously enhance the team's capabilities and technological tools.Qualifications : - Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.- Minimum of 7 years of experience in data science, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in telecommunications or a related industry.- Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and motivating highly skilled teams.- Proficient in using major data analysis tools and programming languages, such as Python, R, SQL, and SAS.- Demonstrated success in developing and overseeing large-scale data projects with strategic impact.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Contract Details : Initial contract duration: 21 months (Possibility of renewal based on project requirements) (ref:hirist.tech)
