Job Title : Analog Layout EngineerJob Description :As an Analog Layout Engineer, you will be responsible for the physical design and layout of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs). You will work closely with circuit designers to translate schematic designs into optimized layouts, ensuring performance, reliability, and manufacturability.Key Responsibilities :Layout Design : Create detailed layouts for analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuits, including transistors, resistors, capacitors, inductors, and other components.Schematic to Layout : Interpret and translate circuit schematics into physical layout designs.Design Optimization : Optimize layout for performance, including minimizing parasitics, ensuring matching of critical devices, and optimizing for area and power consumption.Verification : Perform layout versus schematic (LVS) and design rule checks (DRC) to ensure the accuracy and manufacturability of designs.- Collaboration : Work closely with circuit design engineers to understand design requirements and constraints.- Tape-out Preparation : Prepare and review layout data for tape-out and coordinate with fabrication facilities.- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of layout designs and modifications.Required Skills and Qualifications :- Educational Background : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field.- Experience : Proven experience in analog and mixed-signal IC layout design, with proficiency in industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor Graphics, Synopsys).Technical Skills :- Strong understanding of CMOS technology and semiconductor physics.- Knowledge of analog layout techniques, including matching, common centroid, and shielding.- Familiarity with layout parasitics and their impact on circuit performance.- Experience with LVS, DRC, and other verification processes.Soft Skills :- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Good communication and teamwork skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
