Title : Apigee Developer. Location : Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai. Experience Required : 4-5 years. Job Description : As an Apigee Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining API solutions using the Apigee platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, architects, and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient API solutions.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and implement API proxies using Apigee Edge platform.- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define API specifications.- Build and maintain API products, including configuring security policies, quotas, and analytics.- Implement API governance policies and best practices to ensure consistency, security, and performance.- Integrate APIs with backend systems, third-party services, and databases.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API functionality, performance, and security.- Develop custom code, scripts, and plugins to extend the capabilities of the Apigee platform.- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in API management technologies and best practices.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Proven experience working as an Apigee Developer or similar role.- Proficiency in Apigee Edge platform, including API proxy development, configuration, and management.- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.- Experience with API security standards such as OAuth, JWT, and SSL/TLS.- Familiarity with API management concepts including versioning, rate limiting, and caching.- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or Node.js.- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
