Role : Software Test Automation EngineerJob Description :We are seeking a skilled Software Test Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Python, BDD frameworks, and automating desktop-based applications. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in software testing methodologies and automation processes.Responsibilities :- Develop and implement automated test scripts for desktop-based applications using Python.- Utilize Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks to create efficient and maintainable test scenarios.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and automate test cases accordingly.- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report findings to stakeholders.- Enhance existing automation frameworks and tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.- Debug issues and collaborate with developers to resolve software defects.- Provide expertise in test automation best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the automation process.Requirements :- Hands-on experience in Python programming language for test automation.- Proficiency in implementing BDD frameworks like Behave, pytest-bdd, or similar.- Strong understanding of software test automation processes and methodologies.- Ability to develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.- Experience in automating desktop-based applications is highly desirable.- Familiarity with tools such as Test Complete for desktop application automation is a plus.- Solid debugging skills and attention to detail.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Preferred Qualifications :- Previous experience with Test Complete or similar tools for desktop application automation.- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Benefits :- Competitive salary and benefits package.- Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment.- Professional development and training opportunities.- Flexible work schedule and remote work options.If you meet the above qualifications and are passionate about automation testing and software quality assurance, we encourage you to apply and join our innovative team!
