Position Overview:We are currently seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong proficiency in Python to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on developing robust test automation frameworks and scripts. If you have hands-on experience with Python, BDD frameworks, and automating desktop-based applications, along with a passion for ensuring software quality, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities :Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Python.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design appropriate test strategies.Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave to enhance test automation efficiency and maintainability.Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects and performance issues.Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues found during testing.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software test automation process and best practices.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on test automation techniques and tools.Automate testing for desktop-based applications using tools like TestComplete.Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and software development to drive innovation and efficiency.Requirements :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Minimum 4+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on Python.Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, Behave, or similar.Proficiency in the software test automation process, including test planning, scripting, execution, and reporting.Expertise in developing robust test automation frameworks and scripts using Python.Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.Experience in automating desktop-based applications is essential.Familiarity with TestComplete or similar tools for desktop application automation is a plus.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
