Description:

We need an Azure DevOps individual (Azure is highly preferred because the documentation and design will be Azure Lakehouse related). They will need to have experience and understanding of how to decipher the current state, future state, and draw out the following for preliminary design :- Architecture Capabilities, Constraints, and Dependencies- Security Architecture- Infrastructure and Deployment- Backup and Recovery- Solution Acceptance CriteriaResponsibilities :- 3-5 years of experience managing Azure infrastructure including networking, application hosting, relational databases using Azure SQL, storage accounts.- 2+ years using infrastructure-as-code to manage complex production-grade environments (Terraform strongly preferred)- 3-5 years of experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployment, database deployment, and infrastructure deployment.- Experience fine-tuning IAM permissions in a cloud environment to follow least privilege practices.- Experience designing disaster recovery strategies for a cloud environment with web applications, databases, and object storage.- Experience diagramming and documenting infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and other processes.- Experience in using Terraform instead of Bicep or ARM for Infrastructure-as-Code primarily.- The key responsibilities for this person would be in writing, maintaining, and deploying Terraform and CI/CD pipelines to build and deploy Python and other ETL- related code.- As far as specific technologies go, Azure Synapse, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake in Azure would be the tools they would most likely need to support. No current need for ML experience for this specific project.Qualifications :- BE/BCS or Equivalent CSE/IT- Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation and problem-solving skills- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed (ref:hirist.tech)
