Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Python and SQL, along with a solid understanding of data analysis techniques and methodologies. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in extracting, transforming, and analyzing data to provide valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes.Key Responsibilities: 1. Data Extraction and Transformation: - Extract data from various sources including databases, APIs, and flat files using SQL queries and Python scripts. - Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity for analysis and reporting purposes.2. Data Analysis and Visualization: - Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, trends, and relationships within the data. - Develop and execute SQL queries and Python scripts to analyze data and generate insights. - Create visualizations and dashboards using tools such as matplotlib, seaborn, or Tableau to communicate findings to stakeholders.3. Statistical Analysis and Modeling: - Apply statistical techniques and methodologies to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions. - Develop and implement predictive models, regression analysis, and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems and drive insights.4. Data Reporting and Presentation: - Generate regular reports and ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making processes and business operations. - Present analysis results and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, using visualizations and storytelling techniques.5. Data Quality and Governance: - Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying and addressing data anomalies, errors, and inconsistencies. - Ensure compliance with data governance policies, standards, and best practices, maintaining data security and privacy.Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.- 2 to 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or related role, with a focus on data analysis and manipulation.- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).- Proficiency in Python programming language for data analysis, scripting, and automation (experience with libraries such as pandas, numpy, scipy is a plus).- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, or seaborn.- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling.- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes is preferred.- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
